A continually recurring situation in the dental laboratory, after firing (Figure 1) the contoured contact points are not yet correctly adapted, too pronounced and must therefore be carefully adjusted to achieve closed, surface area contacts. The wide diamond strips with diamond coating onone side guarantee precise, easy contouring of the contact points. The one-sided diamond-coated diamond strips are inserted between the crowns (Figure 2) and the interfering contact is optimally reduced using
light pulling movements without damaging the adjacent crown. Three different grit sizes simplify selection of the strips to suit the situation, depending on the degree of pre-contact. An easy and reliable method for adjusting the contact points and contouring perfect interdental surfaces (Figure 3).
